Andy Brooke
Andy is an applied cycling biomechanist based in Valencia, Spain. He trained under Steve Hogg in Sydney — a four-week residential certification held by fewer than twenty fitters worldwide — and has spent years fitting riders from first-timers to internationals.
He built the sizing engine behind BikeSelect because of a pattern he kept seeing in the fitting studio: riders arriving on frames that were the wrong size on the day they were bought, with every adjustment since spent compensating for a decision a size chart made in thirty seconds.
One opinion not everyone agrees with: a number without its uncertainty is a lie told confidently. That's why every BikeSelect report shows you the confidence range around your position instead of pretending it doesn't exist.
Tad Hughes
Tad runs the Tad Hughes Custom Fit Studio in Houston, Texas' only independent, service-based fitting studio. Behind it are forty years in the bicycle industry, spanning manufacturing, retail and custom building, and thousands of riders fitted: endurance athletes, triathletes, and people getting back on a bike after an injury.
His studio works the way BikeSelect works. Dynamic analysis of you riding as you actually ride, flexibility assessment, live pressure mapping at the contact points, published prices, and nothing to sell at the end but the answer, which is why sports medicine professionals across the southern United States refer riders to him.
One opinion not everyone agrees with: the bike a rider needs is not only a mechanical question. What they have been through, and what they are hoping to do next, belongs in the geometry as much as their inseam does.
How the network works
As the network grows, more fitters join. Every one qualified, every one working to the same protocol, so a report from any of them means the same thing. You can pick your fitter when you book or let us match you.
